“We have stayed at Kanyawegi Dala Resort for a week and have really enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the contact with people. From the resort, we had a view on Lake Victoria and we could already see a lot of birds. We did a few activities, such as watching the sunrise at the lake, hiking through the environment, visiting the local market, eating local fish and climbing the Kit Mikayi rock. A trip to Kakamega Forest was also fairly doable and a real recommendation. The owners have good suggestions for local drivers who can bring you there. Dala Resort is a good place for nature, quaintness and the authentic Kenyan countryside.
